Hey guys i have the opportunity to pre order a blackberry playbook and honestly its going to be no use to me since i am using the apple iphone and the ipad so this would be a great device for someone running a blackberry phone it will be shipped out to me once it is released i will not open it or break the factory seal you will be the first to open it and will come with receipt for you Canadian buyers let me know if interested and its the 16GB wifi will be sold out in stores FAST !!!

Yeah I'll get right on that. Lol. Every store will have supply. Reviews ain't that good as iPad anyhow

It's all just marketing. Playbook has better technology. IPad, much like other projects by Apple, is just a fancy packaging and marketing. Apple is not beating Rim on tech, they are beating Rim on design and marketing. But design and marketing doesn't drive innovation. Technology does. I'll be getting a Playbook because the ability to use Flash applications is nice

Two pretty good technical reasons why the PlayBook isn't going to sell well:

1. WiFi only - no 3G

2. You can't read your email without synching with a Blackberry.

You are so wrong in considering Rim as technological advance. Have you looked at the spec and reviews of playbook?
I am not a fan of apple but Ipad2 vs playbook, hands down. Ipad2 wins in heartbeat.
For the flash apps, every other tablet has that. Playbook is going to fail if they don't include Android apps like they announced.

But it is. I am not look at the hardware. That's all third party parts. I am talking about the technology behind Rim's bullet proof security and extensive use of data compression technology that reduces network load. Apple made a beautiful interface. That's great. Fault me on that. I am happy to be proven wrong.

3G is coming. It has two versions just like IPad. WiFi got released first, just like IPad.

You can't read ur email on the BES without synching, for security reasons. You can still read web email and apps for any other regular types of email. Can you read the email on your Iphone using your Ipad?
