FS: M3-Style Cluster
PM if interested, I did all modification myself and would be happy to test fit before selling. Works perfectly (no errors, display oil temp in place of mpg) in my 06 330i. Pending sale.

Coding isn't simple. You first need to code your car's VIN to the cluster via Progman or winkfp, then you may need to trick your car into thinking it's an older production cluster and was originally meant for your car. Finally, coding it with an empty MAN file should reset everything to the correct values for your cars. It's not something I've had to do myself so I can't help you out with it past this info. Also, seems like this is the most common misconception mileage isn't stored in the cluster, regardless of what cluster is plugged into your car, the proper mileage will be displayed!!! Anyway, cluster is essentially sold. PM me if you'd like to have similar modifications done to yours. I'd be happy to provide advice. |
