Anyone mount GPS or Tablets on their dash?

I did some research but found no definite answer.
I plan on buying a Archos 5 with GPS (still searching though, tab with divx/xvid support and GPS) to use it as a video player + navi.

I want to mount it on the dash under two conditions:
1. No windshield mount.
2. No vent mount.

I know there are some kits (which I can't find, but saw people using) that fits the mount between top of the vent and the dashboard and have GPS/Tab unit mount on it. Kinda like this,

Any ideas?

Kuda mounting base may be what your looking for (scroll down to the very bottom). There are some pics of it installed around the forums, but from what I can remember it doesn't block the vents.

Both Kuda and Proclipusa sell similar mounts, but neither of them looks like the one in your first picture. I would actually prefer the one you showed.

I have one from pro-fit. I live near them and stopped in to pick it up. it works excellent in my 335i simple to install and no damage to any of the trim. It all went behind the trim.
