Generals or Hankooks?

I dont wanna drop too much money on tires and these are two of the more common choices (not just here with bmws, a lot of vw and audi guys go with these two brands...when tire stretching isnt concerned)

So, what are your guys's experience with the Exclaim UHPs and the V12 Evo K110s??

-handling: wet, dry, snow (yeah...i might run them in the snow)
-tread wear
-noise
-durability (potholes etc)
-anything else you deem necessary to include

I'm leaning toward the hankooks, theres just something about the generals i dont like. i had a set of wheels with them on and for some reason they didnt seem like they gripped too well at higher speeds in turns. (they were on for a very short time since i was rear ended soon after putting them on a previous car of mine)

Anyway, any input is appreciated guys!!

from what i hear lots of people prefer Hankook v12 evo for summer tires for their value and performance. Not too sure about their all season though.

Summer tire in the winter is def a bad idea.. Hankooks are great or the $. I just slapped on a set of 19"s on my HREs. I like em.

I had both. I hate the generals all around. The hankook are better all around and are scary on ice / snow.

Good choice, just make sure you get a set of winters for the cold months.

The V12 is a great summer tire if your on a budget.

I would go with Hankooks, plus I think the General Exclaim are discontinued.

Not happy with the performance of my Hancraps for overall straight line traction.

In the turns they are a good performer.

Wont buy again though.

IMO both are not the best choices.... I would look into other options.
