A friend of mine currently has a 1998 528i and just blew his transmission.
Are any of the shops local (i am located in Queens) knowledgeable in this type of job? Would you mine PMing me or contacting me on my cell at 631-278-6547 your thoughts on pricing? parts? labor? etc. Thanks Any fellow members have such an experience and can recommend someone? |

We've done a bunch of transmission work and have a BMW master tech on staff. Feel free to give your friend our contact info. We are authorized OEM parts retailers as well, so getting parts will be an easy process.

He's actually closer. I drive there from exit 25 on the LIE and it takes me about 10 mins to get there without traffic.
