E90 335 sport suspension

I was wanting to whats all involved in suspension with the sports package. Besides the seats i see no reason to get the sports package if im going to swap out the springs and wheels with aftermarket stuff. Thanks

I (and many others) feel that the Sports Seats are a big improvement over standard if you're really into driving. But except for that you're probably right since you'd be replacing everything else.

seats alone was worth the cost of the sport suspension and you do get the sport steering wheel

I believe the sport seats are going to be a stand-alone option very soon (if not already). I can't remember from where I heard this, but $700 was mentioned. You might want to look into this as it sounds like this would be the way to go.

Thanks everyone. Sports seats would be great as a stand alone option. As well as M-tech steering wheel and shift knob. I'm good to go.

The M-Tech stuff is aftermarket. I've heard great things about it though

The strut bars should be thicker than non-sport. I would usually play with the stock suspension for a while before I go aftermarkets. Sports package is a no mistaker.

Dude, besides my (search) inserts, I answered it for you. Now I can see why you cant find anything when you DO search.

You know what I have 4000 posts on the Porsche board and not once did I tell someone to use the search first. I answer the question first then suggest the search as a curtious response especially to newbies. the 335i is a new model and even the salesman cant answer my question. I got better answers on the X5 board. Thanks Hyper for absolutely nothing. Do you even know the answer? or do you just enjoy being a dik. So far I have sport seats and a strut bar. Of course we know it has 18" wheels too. I am experienced using the search feature on many forums but if you separate words such as 335i Sports package if confuses the software and you can spend hours looking and it gets frustrating. again thanks for nothing.
Of course I am thankful for your suggestions of 8 different searches to find an answer to one question.
Maybe I will stay at the Porsche and X5 board where people have a little bit more politeness.
BTW a search on the supension turns up nothing of value to someone like me. Are the springs different.
carriers? camber plates? control arms? sway bars? But dont worry this will be my last post here so you wont have to answer any of that. Of course you already did uh the suspension is different. Great answer.

Wow for a porsche owner, you whine like a bitch. And for someone who is "experienced" on forums you should know that you need to make yourself CLEAR when asking a question. All you asked was whats involved BESIDES the seats in the sports suspension. In my response which part of STEERING WHEEL, SPEED LIMITER, SEATS besides the WHEELS, and SUSPENSION(both of which youll be swapping out) did you not understand? For your question, I gave you answers.

You never defined your question regarding supsension parts in exactness (Carriers, Camber Plates, Control Arms). Maybe if you had, your answers would have been different. Go read your first question again and try to argue that it doesnt sound like another "What does the Sports Package give you?" question.

Go here:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/

Select the car you are interested in and your region and navigate to the suspension components. You can then see the different part numbers and descriptions for the sport suspension (NB you need to look at the suspension component you are interested in and click on the small icon to the bottom left to bring up the parts list).

I know that the front shocks and stabilisers are different. I am sure there are some other parts that are altered.

Dude...relax..many of us have been on many boards for a long time..me? over 10 years..and in fact, I have over 22,000 posts on one of the audi forums... I have actually suggested one or two individuals to use that search button. Depends on the question. Dont jump on HyperM3..he is actually a decent guy.

Thank you. We ALL learned something from your research! However, is it me or is the stabilizer bar cheaper for the sport package than the regular? They are both 26.5 mm but theres a $30 difference, Odd. Just noticed, same with the rear shock absorber. The sports package one is $10 cheaper than regular package.
