Question abt Car Purchase...

Hey guys. I've finally located a CPO 335i from a local seller here for the right price. Problem is that he is still financing it from BMW. The seller has done nothing for me to suspect that hes a scammer but how would I go about paying for it in a safe manner so that I don't get screwed?

What exactly would i say to them?

I was planning to finance thru a regular ol bank. Then they send check to BMW Finance. But how would I make sure that BMW releases the title to me and not the original owner?
