Lightbulb Photos of Alpine White X3 M-sport from M event

Here are some photos of the X3 M-sport on display at the M studio at Garching, from the special M press conference day on Friday (same event where the BMW M Underground Garage Photos were taken).

I appreciate this is all down to personal choice but I just don't get the m sport. I think the car doesn't look as good with the colour coded wheel arches and side skirts. Seems to make it more like the old X3.

Best set of MSport pix I have seen yet. Thanks for posting. MSport is a personal call, but for me, I love the look of it.

I considered changing my order to AWhite, from Vermillion Red; but I have had several AW BMWs, and wanted a change from that. Besides, my wife really likes the Red, and I am really 50-50 on the Red vs the White. It does look great in the AW as the above shots show. I think the Verm Red will also be a great looker as well.

These pix also show clearly how good those 19" 369M wheels look on the MSport pkg.

That body kit is god-awful. Looks like an Acura.

Totally agree. Without the black fender trim and rocker panels the m sport looks really bloated. Wheels look teeny.

I don't mind the front and rear.

Anyone have any idea if the US MSport package will include the clear front corner reflectors or the orange as standard and on Sport Activity Package?

I don't think that would be DOT approved.

I kind of like the front face but the side and the back look awful to me.

The front and back look good but those wheel arches and sides just don't work and they make the wheels look small. It looks like someone's pimped my ride it

I want to like it but it does look previous gen to me, I'm sure it will be better in flesh

I think it will look much better in the flesh. Most photos of the SE don't do it justice. If I was able to order the M Sport back in Oct I probably would have gone for it. Not sure what I would choose if placing an order now though. Definitely need to see the M Sport in the flesh.

are those wheel arches larger than the regular X3 or is the black cladding on the X3 give the illusion effect?

I think it's an illusion. In carbon black they would probably look less pronounced. The front arch on the 4th photo, side on, looks massive! Maybe I've just been staring at it too long

Great pics. Will the wheels look bigger or the same if the car is black?
