Mtech AE Dimmer on one side?

So tonight I installed my just arrived Mtech's V.3. Last night I tried to install it but it was a B@#ch! Couldn't do b/c I couldn't take the black plastic lid off. So today after reading the forum more I had a better plan. Still, it took a good 30 minutes to pop the lid off. Other than that the install was straigtforward. Now when I was done, I compared the driver to the passneger and I noticed that the diriver side is a little dimmer. I had not stood back and look at the two sides yet. But up close it seems to be slightly brigher ont he passenger side. Do you know what I might have done wrong? Maybe it's the unit itself? I wiggled the driver side into its housing and then begin to screw it in. I can try to rotate the Mtechs around. Can you guys think of why one side is bright than the other side. Not too noticeble but enough for me. i'll try to send pics tomorrow to show you.

I had the same problem, you have to make sure you put the mtechs in the holder aligned properly. Take out the dim side and reinstall to make sure it's in the holder correctly. Final product is worth the annoying installation process.

Thanks. I'll try it again. I might just rotate it 180 degrees and see if it makes any difference. It is a PiTA to get it off but I got it down to just a 20 minute ordeal. The first side took 3hrs. Funny thing is it's the brighter side. Go figure!

had this same issue on my mtech v2. turns out my left side LED is not properly aligned and the word "Mtech" is upside down. i had to do a 180 degress rotation to get the alignment perfect. issue resolved.
