Nav pinouts.
Has anyone got the pinouts from the Nav system??
I have searched loads but just can't find a diagram to show me what the connectors on the back of the nav ccc are, anyone help? I am collecting a 335i sport touring on Monday next week and managed to find one with the basic system so I can add my own amp, speakers and subs, but need to see the pin outs so I know what to order. Now I am not sure if it does have the basic system, as on the BMW UK site it says the hi-fi system is added with Nav Business, now I presume that you would also get that if you have nav prof too?
If that is the case I have a spare DSP amp here, is the hi-fi amp and dsp amp a straight swap?? |

Please guys, anyone got the pinouts??
I have the Nav professional but no stereo upgrade, I want to add an amp and speakers but need to see a wiring diagram, or just the pinouts from the back of the Nav computer. Want to know if the underseat subs come from seperate channels, or off the fronts etc. Anyone got them?? Cheers. |

Sorry don't have the answer, but would be interested to find out what you have replaced the speakers/amp with when you do.
I also did not order the HI-FI or LOGIC 7, but will have iDrive and will probably need to upgrade the speakers etc. Whats the standard system like? Just had a loan car with HI-FI upgrade and it did not seem too bad.

The standard system is not good at all.
I have the Logic7 in the 1 series and that is fine, but this needs upgrading and sharpish! I am probably going to do the following. JL amp 400/1. 4" components up front and a 4" coaxial in the rear door. (thinking Rainbow SLC210 for the front and SL100 for the rears) Then put the Logic7 subs under the seats, driven well these will be fine, some lower midrange is all I need, and keeps everything looking stock. |

Thinking ahead to when I get my car, will it be a fairly easy job to just swap the speakers?
Could I just change the speakers at first and then change the amp later?
