Blackline or smoke or all red tail lights for red E91 ?

Hello,
I cannot make decision what kind of tail lights to mount.
The original ones are horrible and there is no discuss that they have to go away.

I have darker red E91 called "karmesinrot" car color.

I want to make it decent.
Because I plan to lite tint the windows, my first idea was to use Black line tail lights. Smoke are too dark in my opinion.

Now I found the topic How To: E90 LCI Facelift Style Tail Lights, and the idea to make it all red I like.
In klove83's car it looks amazing, but its lighter car color.

What do you think guys, have anybody some photos to compare?

Thanks DKx

My e91 is Crimson Red with all red tails. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Do Blacklines and either get light tint put on them or smoke them a little bit, should be fairly easy. I'm planning on making mine a bit darker.

Whatever you do, do not do a DIY smoke... they never turn out well. I would go with blacklines as well.

x2. Unless you are or know a professional painter, take it to a shop or just buy the Lamin-x film.

I have done the e90 facelift...and Omg I don't regret it one bit!!! Cheapest mod I've ever done!!! 8$
Save the 200$ from the black lines and get a nice tint! Problem solved!
