sooo..what else can possibly go wrong?

Ok, when I first bought my 335i I did a little research on what problems they were prone to having...

* The issue that kept coming up was the HPFP....no biggie! I got that replaced after the recall was sent out at 60,000 Miles

* Now my Water Pump went bad...I did intensive research and come to find out a lot of people have their water pumps fail around 60,000 miles (I am at 62k)

* My Oil Filter Housing is leaking oil! I need to replace the gasket..did some research and apparently this happens to a lot of people

* My DMTL pump has gone bad and is causing my Check Engine Light to come on..

So far things to look out for :

1)HPFP 2) Water Pump 3) Oil Filter Housing 4) DMTL pump

My question is....

what OTHER problems should I be anticipating as I start putting more miles on my car...Turbos? Wastegates? Fuel Injectors? anything like that, what should I be concerned about...!?Would you guys recommend I do a cleaning of the fuel system or any other pro-active services to my vehicle so I don't run into trouble down the road?

& Lastly...

How much were you charged to replace the gasket on your oil filter housing? I know there is a DIY on it but I do not have access to a garage =(

My problems thus far (currently at 43k miles):

1. 3rd set of fuel injectors
2. replaced water pump (around 40k miles)
3. replaced power steering pulley, belt and subframe from belt/pulley contacting subframe, apparently there is a SIB on this (@43k miles)
4. replaced battery (around 35k miles)

Injectors. Failed twice in 25k. Don't think this can be done in your own garage and can be quite costly if you need to replace all 6 of them.

geeeeeeeez why did the injectors go bad at only 43k & 25k? I know they are EXPENSIVE ......

would a fuel system cleaning help with the longevity?

Ok my car is a 2008 E90 with 44000 now. Here is my list.

1. Lower control arms upper arms to I think.
2. Strut mounts
3. Water pump
4. HPFP x's 2
5. LPFP
6. 6 injectors and plugs
7. Oil pan gasket
8. Rear Diff

This was all in the last 12 months. Started with about 35000 miles. I think BMW had my car more then I did.

Well, for starters your wastegates can go to shit. Then, your turbos would need to be replaced. Also, pins 18/19 in the driver's side a-pillar window control actuator could corrode and cause your windows, sunroof and trunk to randomly roll down at the worst times.

But other than what's been mentioned, I honestly can't think of anything!

So far I've went through

- 3 HPFPs (on #4 now)
- 1 LPFP
- 2 door actuators (same one broke at different times)
- 1 Radio/CD player
- Injectors

and before I got my RB Turbos installed, my original wastegates we're making a load of noise and needed replaced. I have 50K miles on a 2007 E90.

I've got an '07 e90 w/ 30K miles. Only problem has been with the VANOS solenoids causing dreaded limp mode at the track this spring. It's not an uncommon problem.
