Question What's the best LED Interior Kit in the market for '07 e93 328i?

Hi Guys,

I did a lot of searching here (thank God I did!) and found mixed reviews about each and every LED Interior Kit on the market. I am looking for an LED Interior Kit for an '07 e93 328i. And I found lots e93 owners having issues with the front dome lights after the install (canbus error or something like that). All those threads were fairly old (6-8 months old).
So, I need to know which kit is 100% error-free, headache-free, wallet-friendly for the e93 models? donno if it matters but the car has navi/i-drive.

Thanks in advance. Cheers!

I can find bulb sizes for you later...
The F1 kit is pretty nice as well, but I doubt you can get one anymore since Mike isnt around.

Thank you

Thanks for the replies everyone. I really appreciate it.
However, I notice all of you, so far, are e90/e92 owners. As far as I know it was mostly the e93 owners that have had canbus error issues with these LED kits.
So, e93 owners who have installed any kits and found them error-free please chip in.

Thanks again.

I suggest looking at the new Bimmian Ultimate Interior Xenon Kit. This is now an error free kit that includes full housings for most locations and panel LEDs for areas that cannot accept full housings.

I posted a subject similar to this here

After weighing all options, I think I'm going with Sonic LED lights. However, I'm still open to options so I'm interested as well.

your best bet is getting sonic tuning's LED kit,and replace the map lights with these : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x-HI...item53e680dace

Sonic Tuning's kit is pretty much the same thing as F1 autohaus from what I hear, but the map lights they provide are crap. These Map lights are identical to the kits F1 use to sell.

Hope this helps.

We always recommend www.highperformancebulbs.com

They will be coming out with a new kit literally next week and its priced very competitive.

Its the only kits I personally know of that house custom made canbus LED's fitted for this specific vehicle.

They have invested a lot of money and time in providing a full kit yet remain at a great price point.

Other companies use universal LED systems which are usually not bright or may error out. Other companies sometimes leave out the dome lights because they havnt figured out a way to avoid the errors so its not a complete kit.

This is a complete kit however and its bright in all aspects. Designed to replace every light in the interior included vanity, glove, trunk, dome and map lights.

Ive been running the kit personally for a year (their first revision) problem free, but they went the extra step this time around to make it even better.

Ive converted many locals who've used other kits after they had complaints of errors, or not bright enough, or not replacing all bulbs.

That's great ! I'm personally running F1 Autohaus' kit,and have been very happy since I bought them a while back.They are extremely bright,and very beautiful.If this kit,can replicate that,error free,with bright map lights,then that'll be awesome.

i went on www.highperformancebulbs.com and saw there is only kits and individual bulbs for the e90 and e92s.....i guess we e93 owners will have a long wait before the kits come out for our specific models.

Yea the are. They are friends with us, shoot them an email they will be more then happy to lend you more information.

The difference between old and new is a revised custom made canbus LED domelight strip. Before they were using a univeral system that did work but their custom designed one is brighter, runs cooler, and fits better.

They have sold kits to former F1 autohaus people. Brightness isnt the issue with these kits. Keeping them in stock is.

E93 will be just as feasible. They can likely make you one. He might just need some information from a fellow e93 member to make sure everything works.

Shoot them an email. I believe the e93 just has less lights but the majority if not all are similar.

They plan on branching out to other BMW's as soon as the release of their e90-e92 kit comes. It wont take long they just need test cars.
