help keep going into limp mode with jb4

as it states when i take traction control off in second wot till 3 it goes into limp mode car shakes and sells service engine soon turn off car everything seems fine after .... ne suggestions ob what can be going wrong

Did you do the prewiring yourself? Might want to double check that and make sure all your wires are in the right spot.

Sounds like misfire code? Those are normally plug, injector, or coil.

I don't get why people make these threads without taking the 3 seconds to read the actual codes first.

The traction control off may not be part of the issue - ive been having a problem when going wot at ~3k it goes into limp - havent ran the code yet but it is similar to a previous problem ive had with vanos - just a couple of solenoids and about to put them in - hopefully clears up the issue

Also miles 32k injectors were changed last week and pump was changed 4 months ago

Turn off auto clear. I never have that on for that very reason.

Auto clear is off by default so he probably;y just means the light is turning off and doesn't understand the code is still stored. But if a real code ever comes up with autoclear on giving a CEL you just switch to map 0 on the fly which also disables autoclear. Or just read the code right there on the dash.

Yea turn off auto-clear it throws up all kinds of codes. Id reset the battery too that always helps me.

Lower map and see if problem goes away... or look into replacing Fuel pump, injectors, plugs, or coilpacks.

I just had the same issues. Took JB4 out, went to dealership, and it better now. Just needed the new HPFP and New Injectors which were both on recall.

I have dual cone intake and JB4, both installed this week. Monday I had the HPFP replaced and 5 injectors.

Tonight at WOT in 6th gear at about 145mph, the car gave me a malfunction (1/2motor) message and I had no power. Map was set to five. Oil temp was one notch below 250.

I stopped car and turned it back on and everything appeared normal.

They replaced 5 injectors out of 6?? Wow.. You would think at that point they would just replace them all.
