Damn ugly amber reflectors

Had my 330i for a year now. The only ugly thing on the car are those damn amber refectors on the front headlights. I was wanting to know what options I have in covering them. Ive heard of amber gone's. Some good and bad opinions. If any of you out there have some photos or ideas please post. Thanks

Search the photo gallery on the forums. TONS of members have them. They look great and come in a variety of colors.

i got the amber tints. I thnk it looks 10x better then stock. Just a tint so that they show less, im not a fan of the solid colors that cover the orange completely.

Here is a link to the same topic. Includes some pictures. Your car is tough to decide on what ambergone tint to do since you don't want to dark.

Most people do the smoke.

If you have some cash to blow, get an LCI headlight assembly. If you're on somewhat of a budget, go with DEPOs. If you're on shoe strings, just get them covered.. either vinyl or the bimmian painted covers.

You can do the Bimmian Headlight Reflector Covers which are prepainted and install with double sided adhesive.

This is false advertising. That is a photo of my car and I did not have the Bimmian headlight reflector covers. Those are just gloss black vinyl reflector covers that I got on eBay (PM me for details). The painted reflector covers that many vendors sell are too thick and will stick out like a sore thumb.

eBay member firearm01 sells them. If you order one from his listings, you'll get the gunsmoke version. If you want the gloss black, you have to send him a message and ask for it. Tell him eBay member nivedh sent you.

Just so the mods know, I don't get a kickback or anything from him. Just trying to establish some networking relationships.

There should be some type of penalty to vendors for them doing this. They are expected to act professionally if they are going to be a part of these boards.

No kidding. Guess I'll add JLeviSW to my list of places to never buy from. Hard to trust the quality of their products or service when they steal pictures of different products.

painted covers are ugly cuz they are too thick, plus who wants to pay 100+.

I can make you a pair of the vinyl overlay's ($15).

PM if interested.

Find a install shop that does 3M Di-Noc carbon fiber wrap and use that to cover up the reflectors.

Get some Solaris or equivalent turn signal bulbs to further reduce the amber effect.
