the outer passenger side ring is barely lit. the other three are lit ok. could this be an issue with the way the angel eye is positioned inside? pictures below to show what i'm talking about.

Different beasts; traceit has the LCI headlights that use the H8 bulbs for angels.

yeah it wasn't secured in the slot. instead i think when it was installed, the plastic tab that sticks out gave the impression it was in and twisted when it was only rested in between the slot and the tab so it was crooked. spent 45min with it this morning and its evenly lit now.

the LCI E90 headlights use a small mirror to light up the outer angel eye ring, and i have heard storied where this mirror falls out of place and then the outer angel eye ring will not light up at all. As you mentioned, making sure that the LUX H8 is properly twisted into place should fix this problem.

installation is hard. esp on LCI cars.
i wasn't even sure if my LUX units are fully tightened! its hard to judge because my fingers were sweating making me not have a very good grip on the circular heatsink. Not exactly 100% confident that mine are in position but i do have evenly lit rings from 20 feet away at eye level.
