Problem With Leather Seat! Need Help!

I first owner of my bmw, used to put his baby seat in the back, and since it a coupe, he grinded the carseat against the driver seat and damaged the leather.

It is not too noticeable in person, but annoys me

I know I can never restore anymore
Is there anything I should do to it? to prevent it from tearing, getting worse?

IS BMW OEM leather conditioner the best for this leather?
any advice at all???

pictures are below

Grinded isn't a word. That aside, a local upholstery shop should be able to fix that easily.

Ask in your local forums for suggestions about shops.

I agree with taking the car to an upholstery shop to get that fixed. As far as conditioners I would go with Leatherique or Leather Masters.

You are going to need this...

http://www.detailersdomain.com/leath...ratchaway.aspx

Or you can contact Swissvax USA for a Leather Healer for your Leather.

I believe he's saying it may not be as effective on coated leather. Still worth a try IMO. Better than dropping some bigger money on an upholstery shop

ScheerSpeed helped me fix some scratches on my seat with scratchaway. It worked but the scuffed(hairy) part scuffed more and i put on leathermasters vital and it helped.

10. Scratched or Scuffed finished leather – If the pigment coating is scratched it needs to be repaired and no amount of cleaning and 'conditioning' will make it go away.

The surfaces need to be correctly prepped and then a pigment (colour) added. By using this kit from Leather Magic; wipe the leather down with the solution, using the 220 grit sand paper; this will remove most of the minor creases.

Apply 3-4 thin coats of pigment (allow to dry between coats) you have the option to spray the final coat with a sprayer (all included in kit) – Leather Magic Repair

Leather Master Scratch Away (A-Aniline / Non-Coated) is a professional formula designed for uncoated leather to erase these light surface scratches and scuffs. It performs this by moving the surrounding dye to cover the area where the colour is missing. It is perfect for dealing with fingernail type marks.
