Satellite View on 2011?
I've seen some pics of peoples' nav showing a satellite view, and even 3d models of buildings but I can't seem to find that on my 2011 335
I've tried different zoom levels and have poked around in all the menus I could find, but no luck. Maybe it's just the area I live in? |

Yes, I'm pretty sure Google building level detail is only available in what they deem "major metropolitan" areas. Also, you loose the satellite view if you zoom in too far. You have to be fairly far out, on the zoom.

TO ENABLE 3D TERRAIN, BUILDINGS, SAT IMAGES:
In Nav, OPTION> Map Settings> Perspective View in 3D, View Satellite Images, and Show Buildings. TO SEE 3D TERRAIN: In Nav, zoom to 400 feet and out in perspective view. TO SEE SAT IMAGES: In Nav, zoom to 0.5 miles and out |
