how strong is the drive train on the 335xi's
Im looking into purchasing a 2007-2008 335xi (manual) and enjoy taking my cars occasionally to the dragstrip, like 1-2 times per year.
how well do the drivetrains hold up to the possible 1.7 60' launches that these cars are capable? are they like glass, or do they hold up pretty well? how many of you have broke on the strip? or hard launching on the street. thanks. |

i guess thats the plan.
heard you test drove the coupe at carmax too, was nice but a little high for the mileage, i thought. are you looking for a coupe or sedan? i am aiming for a sedan. have a lead on a couple sedans coming up forsale, hopefully one will pan out for me. |

Yeah, I test drove it. The miles were a bit high, it didn't have an oil cooler, and they were asking too much for it.
I'm flexible on coupe/sedan. Just need to sell the SS so I can pick a 335xi up! |
