Pacific BMW Nightmare

These guys basically gave us such a hard time with our old 5 series, they offered us a free detail. then when we went to redeem it they refused to honor it. Made my wife cry. This is of course after begging us to give them 10s on all the service ratings.

If you are considering visiting them don't. They are a service nightmare.

This begging to give 10s on the ratings is rampant. BMW needs to tell the dealers to stop harrassing customers and also ask during the rating if the dealer tried to coerce the customer into giving them a good rating.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal. I bought my 335i from Pacific in Glendale from Mark, and he was the best car salesman I've ever had. I also fear that their service department sucks, so I will try to visit Matt for all my needs.

Begging for 10s

I agree that the service dept is horrible. It seems like the salesmen want to end up running service for good customers because they know how bad it is.

But seriously just please stop begging me for 10s. First Pacific did a terrible job on my car then, then they give me the run-around, then they exhaust me with all the excuses for why it wasn't done right in the first place. Then after they've basically taken a dump on me, the ask me to give them 10s in the survey.

This has to stop.

The only problem is if you don't give them 10s, they get fired then show up at the Lexus dealer down the street, which is what happened to us. That was a bad day.
