another set of Rusty Calipers..

I have an '07 with 23,XXX miles and the calipers are rusted pretty badly. The rotors are uneffected, but it looks hideous, and since I'm getting closer to purchasing wheels, I figure this needs to be address first. Obviously I could go OEM, but is there a better options for around the same price? Or if anyone else has had this issue, did they just stip them and powder coat? I need some advice..

Sent mine out and had them powdercoated Black. Also had my rotor hubs done in silver as they were rusting...

You can paint the the calipers as well after you prep and remove the rust of course as an alternative to powder coating.

G2 caliper paint FTW! I've had this on my to-do list for a while.

G2 is a waste. 1 track day and it will start to flake off.

Which is why I suggest using the G2 paint. I have the ability/skills to remove mine and have them powder coated, but it just isn't worth the time to me. If I have to repaint them in a few years, so be it. I have no intention of ever taking *this* car on the track. That is what the E30 is for.
