Just been into bmw and got a print out of the original spec of my car, can someone help and advise which are factory and which are upgraded options?

If they'e on the original order spec then the car was built like that so they are all factory fit.
Do you mean which were 'options' when the original buyer bough the car? For insurance purposes? You couldn't possibly know that and it would be very hard to find out. As far as you are concerned that car was built to that spec so that's it. |

For re-sale just put the lot in, that's what I always do.
The prospective buyer can see all the features, and not have to bother checking standard ones to add to your list of 'options' Also, finding 'standard' features for past years / specs / engine variants / special offers etc is very difficult. Best to just list the lot |

To add to Ians post above, I would say Headlight Wash was standard (I had them on my 06 plate 330d E90) and the Centre Arm Rest is an option - from memory...

Mine had a fair few options I knew nothing about - only little things but surprising what is extra - folding rear headrests (!!), bit of extra storage (!!) and other bits - probably the windows and seats.
A 3 series with no options at all must be a wee bit like the inside of an empty builders van! |
