F10 ED Price Negotiation
I am planning to hit the trigger on a F10 550xi for a ED my dealer is saying that ED will only help save on Base MSRP but on options no discount.
This seems different from what I read on some of the other posts. Not sure my dealer is taking me for a ride , any thoughts on how to counter and negotiate. I am approaching a few other dealers in NJ to see what they say. Also my dealer was mentioning of a backlog on new ED orders. It seems the earliest I had get one if I order now ( March 1 ) is May/June timeframe. Has anyone heard the same? Last edited by Sam-F10; 02-26-2011 at 10:24 PM.. Reason: edit |

2) I am not sure about ED backlog....Hard to believe. Read ED wiki on bimmerfest.com before you talk to dealer and select a dealer who knows ED well. PM me if you need suggestions on dealer. best |

I got my options for U.S. invoice. They key is to negotiate $x,xxx over invoice on the total invoice price. It ends up being 12-14% off msrp depending on your deal.

I've not yet done ED, but I suppose that there is a limit to how many cars they can deliver in a day, and spring/summer is certainly a time of higher demand before the plants shut down in August.

See my post on the price details.. You should calculate total invoice as Base ED invoice + invoice of all options + $500 to $1000 profit. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=531243 |
