Possible to paint window chrome?

After having an M3, I got used to having the black window trim. I assume you can't replace the window trim but was wondering if it's possible to paint the chrome black - anyone know?

I know this is a n00b question, but can you black chrome the trim and front kidney grills? I think it would make the color look better...

yes you can paint the chrome trim...I did it.

Blackout grilles are easily purchased from our sponsoring vendors... go search the vendor section. Painting the front grilles is possible (I've done it) put the paint chips quickly and almost everyone who has painted them in the past has now bought blackout grilles (made of black plastic, so they don't chip)

don't you have to repait the trim once in a while? I know the painted grilles chip for sure so black plastic ones are the only way to go

I actually took the black paint off the trim this weekend because it was starting to chip.... If I re-do it I will take pics. Sorry to disappoint. It looked good while it lasted but it started to chip at the edges.
