Shock & Spring Recommendations

Looking to lower my '09 335xi in the next few months. I'm looking to do it with a set of springs and shocks. I am leaning towards Eibach springs because the drop isn't too severe (I'm running a 19x10 et37 with a 275/30 on my rears) so I don't want to have any rubbing issues. What shocks would you guys recommend with the Eibach springs? I know Bilstein makes a set for xdrive, anyone have a setup they like on their car?

Eibach and Bilstein Sports are a solid combo, a few Xi owners have posted reviews on this site about the setup.

I bought the BMW Performance shocks from Tischer for $133 to pair with Eibach Pro Kit.

Are the BMW performance shocks meant for xDrive?

e90 not sure about the x drive part. You may want to PM Evan at Tischer to double check.

Has anyone ever pair a set of Eibach Pro Kit with Koni Yellows or FSDs only in the rear? I believe this is what Dinan does - they change the rear shocks but leave OEM front shocks for xdrive cars.

The only shock compatible with xi is the bilstein sport shocks.

Well, that is true and untrue.

You are correct if I wanted to get matching shocks in all four corners for my 335xi. However, any shock that fits in the rear of a non-xi e90 will fit in the rear of an xi. It's the fronts that are different. Thus, the reason Dinan changes just the rear on an e90xi with a set of Koni's specially tuned for Dinan and leaves the OEM shock in the front.

I was just wondering if anyone runs this setup.
