Hey - has anyone been to Vegas lately? I'm going in May for my bachelor party. Just wondering what the hot clubs are these days? Last time I went it was Pure and Tao (2009ish). Also, any idea whether clubs are busy on Sunday nights?

XS Nightclub at Encore Wynn. Best club in Vegas hands down!

I usually hit up vegas 3 or 4 times a year. Good places to hit up are lax, jet, ghost bar, the bank, pure, tao, nikki beach opens up march 2011.

Was just there in January.. stayed at the new Cosmopolitan Hotel. Pretty cool. High-tech luxurious rooms, with balconies, see-thru showers, etc.

Marquee is the hottest club now in Vegas.. it's in the Cosmopolitan. Basically all the peeps from XS come here now. But XS is still incredible, and probably the place to be on Sundays. Tao is shit now.

I'm heading down in April for my B-day, staying at Cosmo. The Bank inside Bellagio is pretty good on Sundays from what I hear. I'm looking forward to checking out the hotel and City center complex.

I went last summer and will be back again this summer.

My favourite clubs:

Tao, Pure (Must do bottles imo since you'll be left in no-mans land without a booth), XS (Great club! didn't do bottles and had a great time), Rehab for the pool party is a MUST (Apparently this is where all the strippers and dancers go to party during the day). If you decide to do bottles ensure your friends keep their orders in control as the tabs run up quite quickly when the bartender 'knows' you guys are already wasted.

I ended up getting a pricey room at the Palazzo and slightly regret it as I didn't spend a whole lot of time in it. Other than that not a whole lot has changed since 09 in the party scene...have a blast!

I can't remember all the places I went to last year, but Tao, XS, and Pure were 3. I didn't like them. Too loud and couldn't move. Tables were $$$. Just go to the Rhino...and the other place...can't remember the name.

We will be at least 5 guys going down and we're trying to figure out the best strategy to actually get into Club XS as I hear the lines are absolutely absurd. Here are the options as I see them:

1) Stay at Encore/Wynn. Apparenty you can prepay your admittance to the club at the concierge and jump the line if everyone in your party is a registered guest of the hotel. Anyone have experience with this?

2) Bottle Service/Table. I think it's a bottle per 3 guys so we're looking at minimum 2 bottles for our party of 5 = about 1000$. Not sure what other hidden fees are associated with this. Any idea?

I figure if we're guests of the hotel, and we want 2 or 3 bottles, we can probably get in despite being a group of 5 guys? Definitely don't wanna go there and be twiddling my thumbs.

Words to live by. What's even more awesome is if you win money at a casino and pay for your trip! Don't count on this though...I just got lucky the last time I went.
