Swap Z4 for a Z4?
Hi guys
I bought a 2006 Z4 Roadster 3.0si in October of last year (black on black with automatic transmission). It has only 10,400 miles on it and is in tip top shape. I realized I prefer stick shift (pre-facelift 3.0 or 3.0si or M-Roadster). Anyone interested in a swap? Philipp Last edited by phil-simon; 02-17-2011 at 09:37 PM.. |

It should be noted that she has a M car, a trade with a 3.0si may necessitate some money.

10,000 mile 06 3.0si vs a 40,000 mile 07 z4mc might be somewhat of a fair trade with no cash component involved, negating consideration for color, trim and options.

I am going to find a person to do a 3 way trade. I'll give them my TiAG M coupe for a roadster si for Nikki and I get her Bronze M coupe. That car cannot leave the ZPost family

Considering a swap for a roadster if I can sell my car for what I want. Initially I was thinking a 3.0 just to save some money since i'm moving and need to allocate more for rent but now I'm thinking m roadster.

funny thing is manual on these cars is so easy with the anti-rollback feature or whatever it's called... brake assist? aside from roll back and money shifts, nothing really to "worry" about

I've thinking of unloading my black on black 07 M roadster. I need to decide on what the next car will be. 135i, newer Z4, Mini Cooper S. In 2 months or so, I'll probably put my car up for sale. 26K miles on it.

Same here. I'm contemplating selling my '05 Z4 3.0 with ALL options including premium, sport, NAV, extended leather. 46,000 miles. Black with red leather. M6 wheels. Not sure what route I'm gonna go....I'm thinking Porsche.

I think Cayman S is a very good choice...but if it's you only car... I like the trunk space of the Z4 versus the Cayman. I don't know about the cabin noise of a Cayman..my biggest concern. Also the nice thing about BMW is the bumper to bumper maintenance protection for the first several years. If you have the coin, A Cayman S with a turbo or supercharger as a secondary car is one hell of a car...then again so is our Ms in that same scenario.
