Just a bit confused

I went from driving a 2003 330i e46 (m-sport package) which went around corners on rails and handled amazingly, to a 2010 335i coupe thinking the handling would be even better. Instead I find it handles like garbage. I'm just not getting that BMW feel I was expecting at all. It's sloppy and I don't have the confidence to just throw it into 'any' corner anymore. Is it supposed to be like that now or is there something wrong with it? Thanks in advance for any advice?

I would suggest you try upgrading the suspension a little bit as the E46 330i had a more upgraded suspension from the ZSP/ZHP package. I would start with H&R sport springs and maybe upgraded sway bars as well to make it feel more planted.
