I think I have all the M3 parts needed for my E92 335i
Hi all,
If you don't know, I was in a car accident, if you want to know more about it here is the link to it: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=488841 Anyways before the accident I was getting ready for the M3 suspension upgrade, and I am not going to let that accident stop me from doing this! Because I am sure it is repairable. So when I get her back from the shop I will get these installed and see how much it improved the handling. Here are pics of what I have so far, so if you see anything missing let me know and thanks.

damn, that's everything? Coilovers?
adjustable endlinks? factory? the rear sway bushings don't look like the factory M3 bushings. I just did the M3 sway bars install.

The adjustable endlinks are form HP Autowerks (Harold) And the rest are OEM M3 parts, all of the numbers match the M3 and the ///M stamp is on everything. So I don't know what you put on your car but I don't think the BMW dealer I got the parts from would make there own M3 parts. Here is the link where I got them from: http://www.bmwpartssource.com/ and Patrick Casey gave me a wicked deal on the M3 parts as well. But thanks for the useful input.

can you list everything you have there? i'm a noob, and i am looking for mods that would help me create a better ride than stock.
i just ordered a set of bilstein coilovers. i'm wondering if there is anything else i can get, cause my convertible body tends to bend more than i like on steep decline/incline hills. from what it looks like farbmw, you are looking for a track set up, while i am looking for complete opposite. lowering while preserving (as much as possible) a soft competent ride only for street. any suggestions? |

IMHO the bilsteins are great for a DD they fit like they was OEM and the ride on them is better then the sport suspension so I think you are going in the right direction there. Well here are the P/Ns I found, you can go on realoem.com and find them as well. I am doing this for the tracking handling but it all depends how you want your car to feel and what you comfortable with.

Why no steering arm (#13) or trailing arms (#10) I may do the same conversion using the same exact parts u are (minus the camber links) but find myself wondering why the hell shouldn't I get all 5 links if I'm already down there. Just tryin to pick yours or whoever elses brain.

yea i read thiers as wells.
if any of the suspension gurus/people who have done this wanna chime in id appreciate it. i know tischer has all these parts grouped minus the steering rod and camber links. just really curious cause if im spending this amount of money i might as well do it right and get the parts. but if they arent as critical as the other and wouldnt make that much of a difference i could use the cash elsewhere. |

Studs need to be exchanged for bolts for the M3 strut tower brace kit as you will find out during your install - The cowling will hit the top of the studs. You wil have a cowling cover either not seated or cracked if you force it.
Rear camber link verticle head light aim bracket is not correct. Just want to point out the two obvious incorrect parts for you before you start your installation. And you got way too many unnecessary hardware with your M3 anti roll bar kit as well. |
