Foot scrape on interior door..

I just saw that there is a white scrape that is not coming off inside on the door panel right above the door light accents. my interior is black and im concerned why its not coming off because usually its just dirt that happens when someone touches the door with thier foot. My question is how can i make this go away.. its not a deep scratch but just a scrape that made it look white and everytime I wipe it, it remains white.

it is probably a tear/scrape in the door. I have a big one on my drivers side door that seems to be just a scuff mark that would wipe away, buts its permanant:mad:

a mr. clean magic eraser works well imo. moisten & wipe.

Doesnt the magic eraser only work on white surfaces?

It's not dirt so im not sure how the eraser will help in this situation, its a scrape.. any other ideas?? Do you think those interior cleaning products for the dash would work??? and make it look black again.. because it looks dry

Maybe a picture of your scrape would help...but I think I know what you mean.

I have had a similar problem in my CL 500. I used MOTHERS BACK TO BLACK after 2-3 applications the mark was gone... The stuff seems to work and it's good for interior and exterior trim.

Nope. it's just a really, really mild abrasive. Don't rub too hard/long if you care about your surface finish.

Formaldehyde-melamine-sodium bisulfite copolymer

It's very good at cleaning scuff marks off interior plastic.

I had the same problem....I just use a dry microfiber towel and wipe clean...this works for me. But after a few days the marks are back...lol
