what shocks to get?

I just bought some oem sport springs for my 06 325I (non sport). Do I need to switch up my shocks? and if so, should I get the stock sport shocks or go aftermarket?

You dont "have" to but it would be a good idea to consider. Your stock shocks being nearly 5 years old and depending on your mileage would get some more abuse from lowering the car to the sport level.

I would go aftermarket just because if your going to pay for labor might as well get something that you wont regret. I would get koni yellows since they are adjustable and have a great sport ride.

There are a lot of options out there, just depends on your budget and how you want to car to handle.

get the old performance kit, cant beat the price and they are bmw parts. go to getbmwparts.com, and i would also change your front strut bearings. all said and done it will cost around $400 but you will not beat that anywhere.

Agreed, my shocks/struts were going off at 70,000 mls. Replaced with old performance kit, it comes with everything: new rear shock mounts, bump stops, dust covers, bolts and nuts. I will need new front strut mounts, and you might consider upgrading your sways to sport package or better.

RealOEM has different part numbers for the front sway bar for sport and non-sport.

If I were no longer taking the car to the dealer for maintenance I would probably want to try Bilsteins.
