Rough running at low traffic speeds

My 3.0i runs great when normal driving, but the last few days if I'm in slow traffic, as in stop start, when I take my foot off the accelerator I get a knock from the engine block area and it clunks into 2nd if traffic picks up. Also it seems to misfire as I accelerate, but fine as speed picks up. It's an auto. Anyone got any experience of this before I go to the garage? I'm out of warranty. Thanks.

Sounds more like a transmission issue to me. Can you drive it in SD mode? That always works best for me in traffic as it holds the gears longer and makes it smoother to drive than always up-and-down shifting.

Do you have a check engine light on? I would find an Indy shop with a GT1 and have them run a DIS test. The dealer might sting a bit.
