A member here had that set up and seemed to like it. I think his name is chowbow or something close to that. Maybe a quick search can find something.

just to confirm, im talking about the HD shocks and not the sport shocks. do the HD shocks work with lowering springs?

Thats the ones he used, I dont think they have made a sport for the E90, just the HD. Ive heard it from several sources that they use the same valving on both the HD and Sports. Here is the link I mentioned.

thank you that was very helpful. the only thing i dont know, is i have an xi and i want to use i springs because they lower the front more. do you think the HD's will be able to handle that?
