Nose to Nose, 5 Series MSports - 19" vs 18"

My business colleage and I recently purchased 2 520D MSports, both in Sophisto Grey - almost identical cars apart from the wheels. We need to settle a small debate: Are the 19" or 18" wheels more suited to the MSport?
Sorry about the quality of the photos, but they were taken during a quick stop in a local supermarket car park.
Vote Now, the score starts at 1 each (Left 18" - 1, Right 19" - 1) - keep the score going please.

The 19" wheels hands down. The F10 should not come with wheels any smaller unless if temporary winter setups but other then that 19's all the time.

I'd love to know the ride difference of the two cars if they have the same tires- are the 19"ers more harsh? Are the RFT's?

19" look best......With potholes here in NYC the 18's are a winner....IMO
I have the 19's on mine. Luckily I have the tire insurance

This nose-to-nose view is the only presentation that really shows a difference in my opinion - and it's not a major difference either. 18" looks good, 19 looks a bit better. Definately not worth the extra money nor deterioration in ride comfort in my opinion.

Having ridden in both cars, there doesnt appear to be any difference in ride firmness - this may be down to both cars being MSports more than the wheel choice.

19", because 18" are just too small.
But the design of the 18" looks good.

19" no question - 351 is a great wheel
18" are not bad at best. something I would have used for my winter tires if nothing better was available.

I'll be honest... I dislike the styling of the M sport wheels, but the 19's are hands down better than the 18's.

I like the spoke design on the 18 but prefer the fewer spokes and diameter of the 19. If I could pick and choose, I would take the 19 with 5 spokes designed like the 18 has.

Great find & pic comparo!
The 19" wheels are good for the summer setup, the 18" ones are good for the winter setup
