that mustang is running one of the shittiest possible tunes available for purchase.
i wouldnt even doubt it if the hyper-crap slowed the car down. are they seriously willing to put that shit in their car when there are so many experienced tuners out there like BBR, brenspeed, and chris rose? |

Sounds to me like the Mustang was struggling for traction upon launch. The 60' time tells the whole story IMO.

I fixed it.
I don't want too many to hate on me but I would agree with this statement. Most mustangs that are driven to the strip are slow. But then again, it's relative because I'm running in the 11s. I'm sure my car is slow to the modded GTRs with slicks.

that dude driving the mustang just cant drive. the only "fast" mustang in resent years is the 03 cobra. its bad ass and thats coming from a hardcore pontiac guy. The rest are just heavy and slow. now with the 5.0 they are starting to get faster again. the dude driving that 5.0 in the lethal vid can really dive...thats why its under 13
Actually the M3 in that vid is not all that fast. My trans am back in 2003 was doing 12.30s at 112-113 with just a K&N filter, magnaflow muffler, and nitto drag radials...all else was stock. i know the M3 is a heavy car compared...plus its really pretty so i will let it slide lol my car now is in the 10s and pulling the wheels btw

yea, no.
how bout the 10sec one? Quote:
with a better 60' the mustang would have had it. does't look like he was spinning, looks more like he let the clutch out pretty slow. but it's hard to tell, if the camera is shooting at 30 fps and the wheel is spinning at 30 rpms during launch it would appear to spin on camera.

decent comparo. and the mustang is looking a lot better so it really seems like a decent alternative for a lot less $. The M3 is so legendary tho and the fit/finish i'm sure can't be compared. with a suspension/brake upgrade on the mustang would make for a decent track car. |

The mustang 5.0 are really starting to grow on me. Especially with the Boss 302 now. The M3 is still always my car but ford is starting to do it right. Just like grand am now it is pretty much m3 and mustang 302 up front.
