Plastic-Dip: grille/mirrors/diffuser?

I know some of you have plastic-dip painted your grills, mirrors...how long do they last with your daily driving, wash, wear and tear?

thinking if i should just do the $6 DIY to paint my grill and diffuser with Plastic Dip or not...haha

any thoughts?

I painted my grills with a Black Satin Krylon outdoor spray paint. It lasted about 7 months before I got my first tiny chip. I wash my car every week and drive it about 20 miles or so a day.

diffuser as in the M-tech one? I thought the M-tech diffuser is already black in color, no need to plastidip. or are you being creative and painting your stock bumper?
