What's wrong with OEM? There is a compability issue (again) that can cause harm to your system. Just think about the electrical water pump....

Check for "glysantin g48" by BASF.

Zerex G-05 is the only other thing I'd use besides the BMW branded fluid.

OEM. One bottle is $20 and when mixed 50/50 with distilled water will provide two gallons.

You could get it from Tischer (getBMWparts.com) but it's probably not worth the shipping cost. Just get it from your local dealer. If they try to jack you on the price tell them the lowest cost you've seen it on line and see if they'll match it. All and all your saving maybe $5. Just get the BMW OEM coolant. No guessing...

BMW says "lifetime" which really means 100,000 miles. The older models (up to about 2004) had a recommended 4 year change interval.

OEM, but I used Peake Long life. I plan on changing it every 2 years. No problems so far. http://www.peakantifreeze.com/antifr...ong_life.shtml

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

You MUST use OEM. OEM coolant is BLUE in color and is specially formulated not to fuck your magnesium alloy engine up
