Bavarian Distribution ?!?!
Hello E90post.
I know most of you guys have good experience with them, but I just wanna let you guys know about my experience with Bavarian. I know Bavarian have great products with great price, and I know that. But their customer care to me was just awful. Here is the situation. I ordered wheels/tires on 01/20/11, they told me they will ship it by 21st and will send the invoice right away. I didn’t get the UPS tracking or invoice the next day So I called them like 5 times. Never picked up the phone, left message Bavarian never called back. I sent them PM, never replied . (When we ask for price quote they usually reply within 1 hour). Finally able to reach them on 01/25/11, and Bavarian told me it’s already shipped out and was about to send the invoice to me. I trusted them until then. Finally got the invoice on 01/26/11. The WRONG shipping ADDRESS on the invoice. I called them immediately, Bavarian starting to give me BS. Bavarian: We did sent it to right address on the UPS. I trusted on that too. Got the tracking number from UPS, still wrong shipping address was there, also shipping date was 01/27/11. Call them, Bavarian saying UPS made error because there was two different addresses?!~ WTF why would you wanna even put two different address on the shipment?!~ Heard enough BS and I’m gonna be gone for business trip next week so called them to cancel my shipment. Bavarian: need to charge you for restocking fee. Me: Wow, ok Let me talk to my lawyer (Bavarian hung up) End. Here is two things If they have sent the invoice right away this would never happened, because I would’ve known the shipping address is wrong. (Also they never explained about restocking fee when I bought it, It was on the invoice) Second, they should not have lied about the shipping date, if I knew they were going to sent it on 01/27/11, I would've cancelled it before they made shipment. Now they charged me $149 as the restocking fee and I cancelled my order. I just made call to my lawyer and they will send the letters to them. Let’s see how it turns out. Thank you for reading about this mass. (I’m so pissed, I can’t even write) Thank you. PS. Bavarian if you guys made one apology out of all these calls I made. This would've never happened. |

I do understand your frustration with this issue and we have apologized for the slight delay. Posting in a public forum doesn't change the fact that after your wheel set was ordered then mounted and packaged, that you had called a few days later to change the shipping address, and that there would be a further delay and additional cost to us. What I find strange is when you had called us on this issue 1 day you were fine with it, and then next day you called to cancel, then you called again threatening legal action, then the next day again you were OK with with the resolution. Now today you post here??? As for a paying restocking we went out of our way to cut down that cost for you which is normally 25% plus the cost of shipping and labor that was done. I waived the shipping and labor to bring your total down and reduced it to 10%. Once tires are installed on a wheel they are considered used so we have to absorb that cost. Again I am sorry for your frustration and if you have any further issues I would like you to call us to help resolve them. Thanks Brad |

I do understand vendor's perspective but Im just writing this as customer's view. Without even seeing or touching the product and get $149 charged is not great feeling as customer. Im not saying don't buy any thing from bavarian, Im just writing my review on Bavarian This is why this vendor review forum exists. I never threathening Bavarian with legal action, its because there wont be any solution btw Bavarian and I. All I wanted just want my rights, and that is why I pay for hundred bucks every month to keep my lawyer. I know Bavarian have great products and good reviews and that is why I ordered product from Bavarian. But I guess I had too much expectation from Bavarian and that pissed off me more. You cannot always have good reviews, just do what you guys can do best. This one little review wont hurt you guys.
