RDSport Sport Springs... Nice drop? Comfortable?

I've searched this for hours on end, and I haven't found all that many reviews of RDSport Sport Springs. It seems like a lot of M3 owners run these springs and say they offer an "aggressive drop" with "retained comfort."

Do any of my fellow E90 Non-M owners have these springs? I was reading on JLeviSW that the springs offer a 45mm (1.7") front drop and 35mm (1.4") rear drop, but on other websites like PYSpeed and the manufacturer website, they claim a 1.4" drop. Here's what the manufacturer website says...

The Sport Spring Kits lower the car about 1.4 Inches supplying one of the most aggressive even stance drops available for the 3 Series lowering the center of gravity and improving the handling characteristics all whilst still maintaining superlative ride quality. Every RDSport Spring is wound on state-of-the-art CNC winders so that each spring rate is consistent and each spring is tempered and tested prior to delivery.

The RDSport Springs are designed to work with the original shock absorbers. However, for a complete tuned suspension, it is recommended that you install the Chassis Kit which features matched springs and shocks. All RD suspension components are designed and manufactured at the RD suspension division in Aachen, Germany and go through stringent testing both on the road and also at the Nürburgring race track.

Right now I'm running stock sports suspension, and I like the drop in the rear (a little more drop there wouldn't hurt), but I hate how much gap there is in the front. I measured, and I would like about 3/4 inch gap in the front to be reduced.

I am highly considering H&R Sports as well, but I heard they're pretty stiff, so RD Sport sounds perfect.

RD Sport will ride smoother than the H&R Sports so if you are concerned about ride quality, it's a great choice. The Eibach Pro Kit is another option that is softer than H&R and will drop about the same.

Thanks... How comfy is the H&R Touring Cup Kit? I'm interested in probably some better shocks. I guess I could also try RD Sport springs with Koni FSD, but that'd be about $400 more than the H&R Cup Kit.

how much is the whole RD sport suspension - springs, shocks etc? Any reviews? Also can someone confirm that eibach's drop 1.4" in the front because from all the pics it barely drops an inch.

The Chassis Kit? Good question, because I have not found that anywhere. Eibach states that the Pro-Kit drops 1.2" F and 1.0" R and the Sportlines 2.0" F and 1.4" R, but there is no way the Sportlines drop that much. I have gone through zillions of sample pictures, and the Sportline drop looks about the same as the H&R Sport drop, not the H&R race drop. I'm highly considering H&R Touring Cup Kit or Eibach Sport System, because the Eibach Pro-Kit does not drop enough and the H&R Race springs drop too low.

A local shop just quoted me $525 for installation of shocks and springs, which I think is pretty ridiculous, but there's like no shops around here that will install customer-purchased parts unless I purchase through them. Grrrrrr!

Tire Rack has really good deals going on the Eibach Sport System, and seeing a video on Youtube made me pretty interested in that setup.

K, I found the price of the chassis kit in Canada...$2158. I could get a nice set of coil-overs for that price. Does anyone know of a vendor who sells it in the states?

You can get a nice set of Coilovers for maybe $1200. That is what I got my KW V1's for.

OP if you look at their website, they have 2 options. 1.7" is for NA engines and the 1.4" is for the N54s.

Also the chassis kit looks like regular Bilstein HD shocks...are the revalved by RD?
