I have a bluetooth phone with about 150 phone numbers in it. About 2 weeks back I changed some numbers and also deleted some phone numbers in the address book in the phone on BOTH the SIM and the phone copy (I'v double checked this). However, my address book in iDrive still contains both the deleted phone numbers as well as the previous numbers before the change. Of course I can pick up the phone, select my intended recipient and call. In this scenario the phone dials the right number and the sound comes across via the bluetooth into the car. However, the IDrive address book can't be used any more for these numbers as they are wrong.

Any ideas on how to flush the iDrive address book so I can get it to grab a fresh download from my phone???

there is an option to flush the WHOLE memory of iDrive (meaning your phone numbers AS WELL as the navi adresses and what ever else) somewhere in the "i"-menu...

But normally your numbers should be updated some minutes after iDrive and phone connected... It works with mine (navi prof. + Siemens S65 and S55).

Maybe delete the phone in iDrive ans reconnect!?

Solved the problem but the solution wasn't pretty. Sync'd my phone address book with my PC. Deleted all addresses from my phone, deleted the phone from the bluetooth in the car. Added the phone back in to the bluetooth, verified that the address book was empty in iDrive, added the addresses back into the phone from the PC, resynced the phone to the car. Up and running again!!!

Note that I have added or deleted numbers in the past and it has synced fine with iDrive. This time it didn't. So the update is not 100% - at least with my SE K700i.
