X3 35i Oil capacity?

On my 135i N55, it's 7 qts. So at least that much.

Look at the DIY section on the 1series and 3series forums for the N55 oil change, everyone seems to use between 6.5-7 quarts. The receipt I got when I paid for my break in oil change at the bmw dealer listed 7, of course I don't if they put the full 7 in, you can start with 6.5 and run the engine to see what the indicator says.

I don't know for sure if the X3 is the same, is the oil pan different to accomodate a larger quantity for oil cooler / towing purposes?
