plz help, got a rim bent (update with pics)

I was driving back from canada today and i hit a pretty big pothole. it was soo hard my cd n screen went blank for few seconds. It drove fine but when i got home, there is a lil bent on the outer lip about few inches long but its bent very slightly. Is there a way of getting this fixed plzzzzz help meeee. What else can I do. I just got these wheels month ago plzzzzz help.

PICS!!! It all depends, look up some local wheel repair shops in town, have them take a look at it. I bent a rim pretty bad and just replaced it based on the how much the repair estimate was. If it's not noticeable, and it's still holding air, just live with it. You're going to hit potholes whether you like it or not.

That can be bend back. Go to a local Rim store, it should cost around 100 or 150 to repair.

hp racing razr's. But i dont think wheels had anything to do with the damage, it was just a horrible pothole

There are alloy wheel repair shops around. Search for one in your area, and they should let you know if it can be saved.

yeah, i checked it today outside and the outer lip doesnt look that bad at all. SO i hope it can be fixed.

I would buy another one. It can't be that expensive right? IMO, once a rim is bent, it can never be true 360 degress ever again.

what if its just the lip that is bent not the entire rim itself,, why replace the entire rim?

thanks, yah i think i ll take it to the tire shop tomarrow to see how the rim looks under the tire n if other things are fine.. then i ll find a rim shop to get it fixed.
