It's pretty much the 335is upgrade for a standard 335i

so all of the above mentioned....cooling system + software update? can a procede designed for n54 application still be compatible after the upgrade, or do you need a procede for the n55?

Why not put that money into aftermarket parts for WAY more power with that much spent? Are you concerned about warranty issues?

You will still have an n54 motor after this upgrade. The n55 is a totally different motor.

If you are going to install a tune don't waste time and money with the power kit upgrade.

If you're planning to keep your car for a long time, then it could potentially be a good upgrade to improve your cooling efficiency. If you choose to stick a piggy on top of this upgrade, then it's likely that your long-term reliability would improve over piggy+stock.

I would seriously consider this + piggy if it was under $1500 installed. Not going to happen.

it's a poopie tune with some upgraded internals.

For the price of the BMW N54 power-kit you can do some serious upgrades with that kinda money spending it on aftermarket stuff.
