hi everyone
i know this question has been asked before but it wasnt answered very well and it was like 3 years ago,

i have a set of 4 non-staggered m contour 8.5J X 17 h2 rims with a 41mm offset and am trying to figure out if i can put them on my e92 pre-lci 335i which currently has 189s on it and use them as my snows. Just sold my 996 and have these 205/50/17 and 255/45/17 pilot alpins sitting around so figured i would try to mount them... thoughts... help... please... what kind of spacers would i need, its my understanding that the front 189 has a 34et and the rear is 37.

So you want to mount a set of wheels designed for a late 90's 3 series car onto an e92? Sounds like a good idea!

might not clear the brake caliper & rotor (wheels)......if you're asking if the tires will work i believe so.......

i know the tires will fit on the rims, more concerned if they will clear calipers... if i space them to atleast match teh offsets why wouldnt it work?

Depending on wheel design, this may not work. Even though you use spacers to match the offset of your previous wheels, the spoke design may not clear the caliper.

do you think if i contact bmw na they would know? my SA had no clue, i would just try to throw them on but i am currently 400 miles away from them so not sure how much energy i want to expend before knowing if they will fit, i know that they fit on e46 m3 and e39 m5 whose brakes i would assume are the same if not wider than e92 335

BMW NA won't know...you'll have to test fit to know for sure
