Black Chrome Kidney Grills

Hi everyone,

I was looking around for a set of black kidney grills for my upcoming (Feb 28th) 328xi sedan. I ran across these 'Black Chrome' ones during my search:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/BMW-E90-Black-Chr...QQcmdZViewItem

I wasn't, however, able to find any pictures of these installed on a car

In particular, I am looking to install these on a jet black sedan. Even though the Jet Black is not as 'shiny' as the Sapphire Black, I still think that the matte black ones that most vendors offer don't match well with a newly-polished car paint. Any one have pictures of these installed?

P.S. Before I get , I have already done 1h of .

that black chrome looks fuckin awesome. is that available for the e92??

I dunno but, to me jet black looks shinier at night while sapphire is brighter during a sunny day. I have a sapphire 335 and a good friend of mine has a jet black. Jet black reflects more.

I would love black chrome grills and shadowline

I was looking for exactly the same thing a while back. I think black chrome would look sweet, especially on dark/black cars. Hopefully they'll make one for the e92 as well.
I wonder if that's just a painted piece, or if they actually dip it and do the black chrome process... there are a few different ways to finish and they'll call it "black" chrome.

You should post a pic of your car.
Cause if you have the chrome trim around the door windows you might be better off with just chrome.

Then again youre the one thats going to be driving it.

Many thanks for all the comments! The opinions seem fairly equally divided at the moment (35,35,30), so keep them comming!

I really appreciate it.

I'm still waiting for a response from the seller on shipping costs, since the calculator does not work. When (if) I finally get them, I'll be sure to post pictures! Untill then, your opinions and votes continue to be appreciated.

I sent a message to the seller asking if they make it for the e92 and if they have any intentions of making it for the window trim also. Now I have to find 19" black chrome wheels, I found 18"and 20" but no 19:mad:
