Extended Warranty in GVA

Hi guys, its been a while not log on e90post.
Happy new year!

So my 07's factory warranty will end soon(march). and I am planning to keep it for another 1~2 years. Anyone have exp with extended warranty?
for major services i go BJ bmw, for oil changes etc i go autowest. I heard you dont pay deductible at where you buy the warranty from? is it possible to get some discount?

any inputs?

A friend has an 06. He "sold" his car to the stealership who CPO'd it and "sold" it back to him the next day for $1k more. He has a business so he can claim the GST, thus it only cost him $1k to get CPO warranty.

I am considering doing the same when my warranty expires next year.

anyone know which dealer have the best price for warranty? i usually go BJ or auto west.

Check out Autowest, they are usually more motivated.

got mine at bmw store, called Coverage One.
There are several levels like 80,100,120,160k km and 2-3 years as well as 200,100 or 50$ deductable. $50 gets waived by the dealer
Great warranty, covers a lot more then CPO. Covers Towing, Emergency Assisstance and hotel incase of major break down.

wow, thats hell of an idea. I wonder if they did this as a favour to him.
