Question Coupe Grill on E90/E91?

I know this is a reach, but does anyone know if you put the full oval grill from the coupe on an E90/E91 instead of the grill and hood pieces that they come with?

Yea...I am confused too...the coupe is an e92, the sedan an e90, and the wagon an e91. the e90 and e91 have the same grill, but the e92 is completely different!

I think you are asking if you could take the grill off a coupe and put it on a sedan....answer no.....

If you want to change you grill off the e90, you can do that! There are ALOT of different options and products out there a search would find them, chrome, thick chrome, black, carbon fiber are the most popular! Good luck and I hope that answers your question!

haha....no need to double post either..(http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...703#post702703)

to do that, you'd need to put the whole e92 front clip on the e90/1.

Thanks. That does answer my question. I double posted so that twice as many people could see my dumb question. I did know about the replacements for the E90/1 that are frequently dicussed. I guess I'll go black. I hate the chome plastic piece on the hood. I have an E91 and the only chrome on the car is the grill and badge (and the chrome dealer plates that quickly made it into the trash). I am thinking matte black with maybe a light clear coat to make it easier to clean. Thoughts?

Sorry but I didn't understand what the "front clip" is.

uhh.. the old round hole in a square peg problem. With all due respect, have you even looked at the grilles? they're very different shapes.

You can mark me down as one who learns from the mistakes of others. That is, in fact, why I posed the question.

I actually like e90 grill more than the new coupes(and 5-series's).
e90 grill looks more aggresive and sporty in my opinion.

You would also have to replace the entire hood, if it is the same size to begin with. The chrome milk moustache is part of the hood of the E90.
