What a day for your delivery......!! Have a look at picus' winter wheels. They're gorgeous. I bought 17" M5 replica rims (225 mm all round, no staggering) with Dunlop Winterport M3 DSSTs and they've been really great in the snow. Saved some money with the 17" and 18" winter tires are harder to come by but you need to check that 17" rims fit on your 335i since your brake discs are bigger than mine (328xi).

17" if they fit. I'd also look into the narrowest tires that are appropriate. (probably 225/45). Like tirana said above, the 17" will be cheaper, and you'll probably have a better selctions of tires. Especially with 225/45-17's.
I'd suggest Nokian tires as well. |

I ordered my winter tire and wheel package from Tire Rack. I would give them a call for technical assistance and sales advice.
I have 225/45-17 Blizzak LM-25 tires and ASA wheels and have been happy with the performance in the snow. |

I would suggest picking up a set of forged wheels to take the punishment of pot holes (BMW rims or others). We had lots of pot holes created from the winter snow storms from Nov to Jan and people i spoke to that had winter cast wheels had damaged their rims. My 17" rims took a lot of pot holes and were not affected. Nokian's RSI's, specifically, are not good for our car from my experience. The tread squirms too much and i lost all stopping power (very dangerous) and handling in dry and wet. Stick with a performance rated winter tire like the Tire Rack or BMW recommends.
