M3 Lower Control Arm on e92 question...

I am testing an assumption I have, and wanted to check in with the community to see if I am correct.

I would like to add some negative camber to my 07 E92 335i, but I am not ready to jump to camber plates. I have done some research and it seems I can get a good start (.75 degrees) by replacing the lower wishbone with an M3 part from Bimmerworld or HP Autowerks.

My question is, these kits offer me the option of buying the lower wishbones (and headlight adjuster)

http://www.hpashop.com/product.sc?pr...categoryId=175

or I can buy the entire control arm kit

http://www.hpashop.com/product.sc?pr...categoryId=175.

My assumption is that the entire kit would give me the firmer bushings for my entire front suspension, but that only the lower wishbone is needed to provide the camber change I am looking for.

Is this correct?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi Tom, I have the M3 tension and wishbones (with the headlight regulating rod).

This mod is a "just do it". The steering feel is fantastic. it is firmer, not too firm, no slop in the steering, on center is great. THere are NO cons to this mod.

I also went 1 step further and got the Dinan camber plates too. I have over -2 neg camber and the turn in is fantastic. YOu don't need to do that one. Do the M3 parts first and try it. It is a no lose.

Next: I would buy from Harold. The guy is fantastic, and doesn't steer anybody wrong. The support he gives the community is just top notch.
