Fun in the snow!

I was asked to take some promo shots of 335i's in the snow for a local dealership; so today was as good a day as any, right? These aren't them, just ones I took on my adventure.

This car is really fun in the snow with snow tires. I did not get stuck (though I was close once); big recommendation for guys new to RWD and snow; turn off traction control!

Peek-a-boo.

I was in Liberty Village and some guy with a 325xi saw me and offered to help me. Thanks whoever you were, luckily I didn't need the help though!

Unfortunately 10 minutes later I did... stuck in a snow bank, but I emerged unscathed with the help of a cute girl in an A4.

IMO you need some fly-bys with the snow trailing.... or some sweet snow covered parking lot power slide shots. I guess that would probably require assistance though. Unless you could do it with a tripod and a 30 second delay.

I got some with the help of my wife. I'm gonna let the dealership go through em first though.

I'm driving an 05 STi at the monment and in about 2 weeks I will be sporting a 335i, The last time I drove a rwd was about 8 years ago. It's going to be pretty sweet, just have to remember that it isn't the STi (I can't even tell there is snow with the STi)

Can't wait and be safe guys and gals

My winters are hankook w300 icebears, I am running them on the stock wheels, so 18x225x40 and 18x255x35. They are not runflats, I carry a fix-a-flat kit from Canadian Tire ($49.99). They do many a big difference in the snow.

Leo is right, the plate is there I just blurred it. I took it off for the actual pics I was taking though. The mount I use comes off pretty quick.

I thought is was salt. Better to invest in a few extra nicknacks than in the OPP picnic fund....
